As the owners of Focused Imaging, we are very proud of the service we are able to offer our customers.  We became interested in 4D ultrasound because Barbara is a Certified Nurse - Midwife and has worked many years with pregnant women, listening to what they want. It became clear 4D ultrasound is high on the list of desired services so here we are. Rick is a Radiologic Technologist  with extra training in 4D ultrasound and is the primary sonographer.

We have two children and never had this type of ultrasound available during the pregnancies  so we are especially happy to offer this service to others in the safest and most comfortable manner possible. We feel that realistic images provide a connection between the expectant parents and child that can be beneficial to the entire family. The first time you see your baby's face and his or her heartbeat is a breathtaking moment! With the new vivid 4D technology we are able to transform those images and bring them to life!

Facility Information
At Focused Imaging Ultrasound, we believe that a 3D/4D ultrasound is a wonderful way for families to bond even more with their unborn child. The experience will be very relaxing. It is set up in a quiet office space, where children and family members are welcome. We can comfortably seat invited guests in our viewing room and are happy to have them join in the fun!

* All VHS and DVD recordings are set to relaxing baby music.

Aside from the above benefits, we also adhere to a responsible set of guidelines at our ultrasound facility so that you can be certain that your ultrasound scan is both safe and enjoyable, including:

* We require that you provide proof of prenatal care in advance to ensure that the scan is not used to replace prenatal care through your physician.

* We will not perform an ultrasound on anyone before they have had their diagnostic second trimester ultrasound. Many other ultrasound centers will take clients as early as 12 weeks for an ultrasound. We feel it is extremely important that they have had their diagnostic ultrasound to avoid finding out anything at our location that was not previously found during their routine diagnostic ultrasound through their physician.

* We ensure that your scan will be well within the time limits that have been proven safe for decades

* We will not perform medical scans but will certainly communicate with your healthcare provider if we spot a reason for concern or an anomaly.

* We will scan at a frequency level similar to your diagnostic scan to mirror the low levels established by the FDA for fetal use.

* We will provide a safe, private, and comfortable atmosphere for you and your family.

• Take exit 80/Memphis/Knoxville onto I-440 W toward Memphis (2.2 miles)

From Knoxville

• I-40 W toward Nashville / I-65 / I-24
• Continue on I-24 E (signs for Chattanooga / I-24 E / Memphis / I-440 / W)
• Take exit 53 to merge onto I-440 W toward Memphis (4.7 miles)
